«We went as a small group of three for 10 days. In short — it was powerful, and definitely not our last trip; impressions galore. The tour was organised by Agzat through his business partners; we stayed at a safari ranch (3–4 hours' drive from Johannesburg). We lived in a comfortable lodge with a large terrace and pool, cosy rooms, traditional home cooking, and a bar with various drinks, alcoholic ones included. The food was excellent — a light breakfast, a hearty lunch, and in the evening after the hunt, grilled meat and gatherings by the fire with drinks. There is Wi-Fi, but the signal was poor — which is even a plus: you disconnect from the outside world. The hunt: we rode in kitted-out pickups with a guide who is also a PH (professional hunter). The guide is an Afrikaner, a hunter with many years of experience who knows the terrain and the habits of the animals. We hunted various antelope, from common impala to trophy gemsbok, kudu, zebra, giraffe and other inhabitants of the savanna. Everything by the rules, a very high level of service and safety. Trophies are processed on site. After all the taxidermy and export paperwork, they are shipped anywhere in the world. I loved the savanna, the sunsets, the variety of wildlife. It wasn't just a hunt — it was a real safari. On the downside, the long flight: 5 hours to Istanbul, then 10 hours to Johannesburg, plus acclimatisation. The whole time the weather was pleasant: cool in the morning and evening, warm during the day, sometimes even hot. Huge thanks to Agzat for the experience and unforgettable impressions.
