The hunting season in Namibia runs almost year-round; the best period is February to November. In the dry season game is most active and easy to spot. Hunting takes place morning and evening; you travel by 4x4 as the hunter, professional hunter (PH) and tracker locate game across the savanna and Kalahari dunes.

We set the pace and difficulty to suit you. The terms of trophy accounting and the parties' responsibilities are set out in the tour rules and the contract.

You may use your own or a rented rifle. A temporary import permit is issued on arrival; we help with import and re-export paperwork. A 7.62-calibre rifle is enough for most plains species; big game calls for more power. Hunting antelope with smoothbore guns is prohibited. Rifles can be rented on site.

Hunting is conducted under official licences and quotas. Rare species have a waiting list, so plan dates and trophies well in advance.

Accommodation in lodges — from standard to premium. Photos of the specific lodge and rooms are sent together with the quote.

Fly to Windhoek (Hosea Kutako airport). Visa requirements depend on your citizenship; we help with information and an invitation if needed. The airport transfer to the concession is included.

If a visa is required for South Africa, all documents must be current — issued no earlier than 10 days before submission. Base list (2025):

1. 01Completed BI-84 application form; paste a photo in the top-left corner.
2. 02Passport (valid for at least 30 days after the trip, with at least 2 free pages for visas and stamps).
3. 03A copy of the passport.
4. 04Two photos, 3.5 × 4.5 cm, on a white background.
5. 05Invitation from South Africa.
6. 06Employment letter (period, salary, leave for the specific dates) plus a notarised English translation. It may be issued directly in English — then no notarisation is needed.
7. 07Bank statement for the last 3 months with the balance, in English (minimum balance of $3,000).
8. 08Flight booking.
9. 09Pension statement from eGov (national pension fund) plus a notarised English translation.

We handle the initial trophy preparation for delivery to the taxidermist. Taxidermy, packing, paperwork and shipping the trophies to the owner are arranged on request (charged separately).

Comfortable hunting clothing in neutral tones, sturdy footwear, a hat, sun protection and personal medication. Bring your own rifle (we arrange the import/export permit) or rent one on site.
